Harju II – Soodevahe–Kangru (Verston)

Road condition: satisfactory
Cleaning: 3 brushes, 2 vacuum cleaners and a tire washer in use
No shipments will take place until 4.01.2026

Harju III – Kangru–Saku (INF Infra)

The shipments ended on 15.12.2025 and are on hold until 31.01.2026.

Harju IV – Saku–Harju County/Raplamaa border (Merko & GRK)

A cleaning brush, vacuum cleaner, and water machine were used on the roads leading from the Männiku quarry to the site as well as on the roads leading to the quarry.

19.12 the badges will be washed.
No shipments will take place until 4.01.2026

Rapla I – Harju County/Rapla County border – West (Verston)

No shipments will take place until 4.01.2026

Rapla II – Loone–Hagudi (Verston)

Road condition: satisfactory
Cleaning: Two brush machines and a water-powered machine were in operation, the transports were completed on 18.12.
No shipments will take place until 4.01.2026

Rapla III – Hagudi–Alu (Tariston)

Road condition: satisfactory
No shipments will take place until 09.01.2026

Rapla IV – Alu–Kärpla (Verston)

Road condition: satisfactory.

Cleaning: In total, there are eight different cleaning machines in use, which worked:

• At the Orava and Purila quarries. The machines also worked in the Juula, Raikküla and Rüütja areas and in the Rapla station zone.
• On the Rapla–Tallinn–Türi highway (road no. 15), where two cleaning machines were operating on the Hagudi–Rapla section and in the Hagudi area.

Cleaning work will continue on December 20, 2025 with a total of three machines to ensure the roads are clean before the holidays.
In addition, footpaths in the Hagudi area are being cleaned.

Transportation: not available until 4.01.2026

Rapla V – Kärpla–Selja (TREV-2 Group)

Road condition: satisfactory
Cleaning: two brush machines are in operation (at the Järvakandi and Reinu quarries) and a vacuum cleaner in the Reinu quarry area.
Transportation: not available until 4.01.2026

Pärnu I – Selja–Tootsi (Tariston)

Road condition: good
Cleaning: one brush machine was working at the intersection of Kootja and Pärnu–Rakvere–Sõmeru roads; the edge of Kootja road was cleaned and fill material was added.
No shipments will take place until 4.01.2026

Construction companies Verston, Infrastructure, INF Infrastructure, TREV-2 Group, Merko & GRK Oy We use a variety of cleaning measures on a daily basis to ensure the cleanest and safest roads possible throughout the work. We also cooperate with local governments and the Estonian Transport Board in providing operational information.

What we have done and what we can still do:

• more frequent cleaning of roads;
• stricter wheel washing and cleaning procedures during field trips to sites and mines;
• separate response teams in more problematic locations;
• adjusting transport arrangements during sensitive times
