Harju I – Ülemiste-Soodevahe (TREV-2 Group)

Road condition: satisfactory.

The roads are mostly dry. The road surface is cleaned with a brush daily and additional maintenance and cleaning work is carried out as necessary.
On Suur-Sõjamäe Crossroads, Tallinn – Lagedi Road, Nuia Street and Visase Street, road surfaces and traffic control devices (signs) will be cleaned as needed.

The following quarries are used for the supply and disposal of materials: Huntaugu I sand quarry, Väo quarry and Väo VIII limestone quarry.

The following route is mainly used for transport: Kiiu-Soodla road (road no. 11105) – Tallinn–Narva highway (road no. 1) – Tallinn ring road (road no. 11) – Juhan Smuuli road (road no. 7841171) – Tallinn–Lagedi road (road no. 11290) – Suur-Sõjamäe bypass (road no. 7841235) – Nuia street (road no. 7841723) – Visase street (road no. 7841650) – Betooni street (road no. 7841162) – Paneeli street (road no. 7841160).

The daily number of tipper semi-trailers serving the facility is approximately 6, with a total daily tonnage of 1800 - 2200 tons.

Harju II – Soodevahe–Kangru (Verston)

Road condition: satisfactory.
There are three brush trucks at work, two of them with road washing capabilities, 1 large vacuum cleaner and a tire washer at Põrguvälja road.

Transportation will take place on the following section of road with approximately 15 semi-trailers:

  • Tallinn Ring Road (Road No. 11, km 0–10,5) – Tallinn–Tartu Highway (Road No. 1, km 6–37); Kiiu-Soodla Road (Road No. 11105, km 1–4); Tallinn-Tartu Highway (Road No. 2; km 11,5–26); Jõelähtme-Kemba Highway (Road No. 11202; km 5,2–7)
  • About 20 trailers are moving on the Tallinn-Tartu highway at kilometers 11,5–15 and on the Tuhala-Nabala road (11330), at kilometers 5,6–9,6.

Harju III – Kangru–Saku (INF Infra)

Road condition: good.
The brush machine is working on Kivi Road (road no. 11159) and at the Kangru traffic junction. There are road surface defects on state road no. 20113.

Transport takes place on weekdays from the EMG Reinu quarry to the Kangru traffic junction with 10 cars. For this, the route used is from the Reinu quarry along road 20113 (quarry access road) – highway no. 15 (Tallinn–Rapla–Türi) – Kangru traffic junction. The same route is also used to return to the quarry.

Transportation will also take place from Monday to Friday with five cars from the Reinu gravel quarry to Kivi road (road no. 11159), also using road 20113 (quarry access road) and highway no. 15 (Tallinn–Rapla–Türi).

Harju IV – Saku–Harju County/Raplamaa border (Merko & GRK)

Road condition: good.

Road maintenance is carried out every working day with a brush machine. There are defects in the road surface of State Road 11247 (near the Sutlema quarry), which are planned to be repaired in the near future within the framework of the Harju IV contract.

There will be no bulk transport. 4 semi-trailers will be moving on the Sutlema-Tõdva-Hageri-Kirdalu-Kiisa road route (from the viaduct to the site).

Harju V – Soodevahe traffic interchange (TREF Nord)

Road condition: satisfactory. Road cleaning is carried out with a brush as needed.

Transportation takes place within the facility.

Rapla I – Harju County/Rapla County border – West (Verston)

Road condition: satisfactory. A brush machine is constantly on site and a vacuum cleaner is ordered if necessary.

On March 23-25.03, eight trucks will transport material from the Männiku quarry to the Harakapesa area.
Transportation takes place along road no. 15 (Tallinn–Rapla–Türi road).

From March 23rd to 26.03th, six trucks will transport materials from the Hagudi quarry along road no. 15 in the direction of Kohila.
Every working day, eight trucks transport goods from the Harju II section to Kohila in the Harakapesa area. Road no. 15 (Tallinn–Rapla–Türi road) is also used for this purpose.

Rapla II – Loone–Hagudi (Verston)

Road condition: satisfactory. Two brush machines are out daily, one of them also cleans with water.

Transportation takes place from the Reinu quarry with six semi-trailers and two trucks.

Rapla III – Hagudi–Alu (Tariston)

Road condition: satisfactory. National road 20113 has cracks and holes in the pavement.

There are no soil or quarry transports.

Rapla IV – Alu–Kärpla (Verston)

Road condition: satisfactory.

There is one cleaning machine working on road no. 20113 (the road to Reinu quarry), and two cleaning machines near the Põlma viaduct.
There are defects in the pavement of State Road 20113, and repair work will begin in March.

INF Reinu quarry will be transported from 23 to 27 March in a volume of 10,000 tonnes and from 30 March in a volume of 10,000 tonnes. The transport will be carried out on the route 20113 (Reinu quarry road) – T15 (Tallinn–Rapla–Türi road) – 20141–20125–T27 (Rapla-Järvakandi-Kergu road).

Merko/TREV-2 will be transported from the Orava quarry starting from 30.03 in a volume of 6000 tons on the route T4 (Tallinn–Pärnu–Ikla) – T28 (Rapla–Märjamaa road) – T27 (Rapla-Järvakandi-Kergu road).

Eesti Killlustik will transport 300 tons of limestone from the Limestone Quarry between March 23 and 27, and another 300 tons from March 27.03. The transport will take place along the Rapla-Järvakandi-Kergu highway (T30.03).

From 30.03, a transport of 8000 tons will take place from the Verston Rüütja quarry on the Rapla-Järvakandi-Kergu road (T27) – 20125.

The export from the Rüütja quarry will take place between 23 and 27 March in a volume of 5000 tonnes and from 27.03 March in a volume of 5000 tonnes. The transport will take place along the Rapla-Järvakandi-Kergu highway (T30.03).

Rapla V – Kärpla–Selja (TREV-2 Group)

Road condition: satisfactory.

Road cleaning is carried out if necessary. The road to the Reinu quarry is cleaned in cooperation with Verston. A brush truck is used on the Kobra quarry road if necessary. There are road surface defects on State Road 20113, the repair work of which will begin in March.

Transportation takes place:

  • From Reinu quarry – about 14 semi-trailers per day
  • Lime from the quarry – about 10 semi-trailers per day
  • From Kobra quarry – about 10 semi-trailers per day

From March 25th to 27.03th, transports will also take place from the Aluste quarry with approximately 4-6 semi-trailers per day.

Pärnu I – Selja–Tootsi (Tariston)

Road condition: good.

Transportation takes place from the Raikküla (Lubja) quarry along Rapla-Järvakandi-Kergu road no. 27 (kilometer 36,5).

We also cooperate with local governments and the Estonian Transport Board in providing operational information.

What we have done and what we can still do:

  • more frequent cleaning of roads;
  • stricter wheel washing and cleaning procedures during field trips to sites and mines;
  • separate response teams in more problematic locations;
  • adjusting transport arrangements during sensitive times
