In November, we invite all young people aged 13-30 (inclusive) to participate in the youth campaign “The future is on the train”, , which aims to create their own vision of the Rail Baltica train of the future.
Let’s let our imagination fly and imagine what a Rail Baltica train could look like in 10, 30 or even 50 years’ time?
What about passenger or restaurant carriages, areas for bicycles, luggage or pets? Or a train outside?
At the heart of the campaign is young people’s vision for the future of transport, where sustainability, innovation, comfort and safety play an important role, and will be taken into account in the subsequent assessment of entries.
Campaign objectives
- Inspire reflection on the future of transport and infrastructure.
- Provide opportunities to express your creativity and technological skills.
- Present Rail Baltica as a forward-looking, comfortable, safe and innovative infrastructure project.
Submission of applications
It is allowed to visualise both the interior and exterior of the train, in both 2D and 3D formats, and to use any design software, including AI.
Entries must be submitted using the form below and in photo format (JPG, JPEG, PNG) with a short description explaining the vision and design solutions chosen. The description should show how the train meets the needs of future users and could support the Rail Baltica identity.
Entries can be submitted between 11.11-24.11.2024. The winners will be announced on 29 November, according to the category.
